0.1 Overview

Charter Communications (Spectrum) is the home of the Helios product- an API tool that serves as a testing harness for the company's merchandise catalog. I was engaged multiple times at Charter as a consultant and worked on several features for Helios. The first time I saw the application, it was a mere 4 pages and has since grown into robust environment full of features for testing APIs and understanding the customer experience of purchasing Charter services.

A new market initiative arose for the ability to test purchasing of mobile lines and devices in the API Testing Tool. The availability of the service was based on the location of a customer, so that needed to be taken into account.
